The Beans

QUALITY COFFEE BEANS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE

Africa: The Birthplace of Coffee – Bright, Floral, and Fruity

Often considered the cradle of coffee, African beans are celebrated for their vibrant acidity, complex floral notes, and often intense fruitiness. These coffees thrive at high altitudes, leading to slower cherry maturation and more concentrated flavors. Many are traditionally natural processed (dried with the fruit intact), enhancing their fruit-forward profiles.

South America: Accessible, Sweet, and Full-Bodied

South American coffees, predominantly Arabica, are known for their consistent quality, balanced profiles, and often a comforting sweetness.

Asia & Pacific: Bold, Earthy, and Unique

Coffee from this region often stands out with its distinctive heavy body, low acidity, and earthy, spicy, or even herbaceous notes, largely due to unique processing methods like wet-hulling.

Central America: Balanced, Clean, and Sweet

Central American coffees are largely Arabica varieties, cultivated in volcanic soil at high altitudes, leading to clean, well-balanced cups with bright acidity and pleasing sweetness. They are often washed processed.
